She is the author of A Garden Full of Butterflies.  Lynn S. Combes’ first daughter died at the age of five. Her experience with the grieving process gave birth to a desire to help others deal with grief and also spawned a special book about losing a loved one.  The characters in her book are ten-year-old Marissa whose mother has died and Mrs. Chancey, a kindly neighborhood woman who also lost loved ones.  Mrs. Chancey takes Marissa under her wing and shares her flower garden and its butterflies with the young girl.  In the garden their relationship grows and helps them both deal with loss.  For more information on the author, please go to http://www.lynnscombes.com/.
