Author, Augusta Scattergood’s debut young adult novel Glory Be is
set in 1964 in a Mississippi town and is about friendship, family and
difficult choices due to the arrival of the civil rights movement in their town. In
November, Glory Be, was named by Amazon as a Top Middle Grade Novel for
the Year. And Ms. Scattergood’s second book will be published by
